The Ottoman Empery looses the power over the Balkan in 1899. People of all nationalities feel the collapse of the Empery. The tragic collapse actually means a new beginning for the main character.
The main story is set near Bitola and follows the life of the poor Turkish milkman – Ramiz and his family. As the Ottoman Empery withdraws from the Balkan, Ramiz is forced to move from Rumalia, too.
